IMMUNONET Basic science network day at Novo Nordisk Fonden

On the 12th of September, 2019 IMMUNONET will host a Basic science network day at Novo Nordisk
Fonden, Tuborg Havnevej 19, 2900 Hellerup.

The topic will be “New leads in Cancer Immunotherapy”. We will have a keynote speaker at 13:00.

Poster presentations will be in focus, we therefore call for young scientist in the field of immunooncology
to submit abstracts in the categories:

1. ‘New targets/new leads’
2. ‘Translational IO’
3. ‘Immunotechnologies’
4. ‘Biomarkers’

Abstracts will be selected for a short on‐site poster presentation of 4 minutes.

Postdoc in Immunological Biotechnology at Dept. of Engineering, Faculty of Science and Technology, Aarhus University

Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Fellow position in “Immunological Biotechnology” at the Department of Engineering, Section of Biotechnology and Chemical Engineering, Aarhus University Denmark.

The position is available from October 1st, 2019 or as soon as possible hereafter to the end of 2021.
Click here for more information and details on the application procedure.

Postdoc position in the Precision Vaccines Laboratory, Harvard Institutes of Medicine, Boston, USA

We seek a skilled and motivated post-doctoral scientist with background in Immunology (experience in T and B lymphocyte studies a plus), Vaccinology, and/or Systems Biology to lead a project on development of novel adjuvanted vaccines. We are funded by NIH/NIAID via an Adjuvant Discovery and Development Program contracts, a UO1 grant on adjuvant synergy and a U19 Human Immunology Project Consortium (HIPC) award to study systems vaccinology. Studies will employ in vitro modeling of human newborn, adult and elderly antigen-presenting cells, T and B lymphocytes, small molecule screens, medicinal chemistry, adjuvant formulation as well as in vivo animal and human studies and big data “OMIC” technologies, to identify and develop adjuvants that enhance immune responses of those at the extremes of age.
