This meeting aims to bring together scientists in macrophage/dendritic cell research with adjoining fields of such as transcriptomics, infectious disease, and structural biology, to present and discuss cutting edge research in this broadening field. A key goal of the meeting is to promote communication between world class scientists and a young generation of researchers, ranging from molecular immunologists to clinical scientists, and thus to facilitate the translation of new basic discoveries.
