Members of the Danish Immunology Society can request financial support up to DKK 5000 for scientific meetings held in Denmark that are of relevance to the Society’s membership. This may be in the form of a talk by an international speaker in connection with e.g., a PhD defence, part of a larger scientific meeting, etc.
It is a requirement that 1) the meeting is open for participation of the members of the society free of charge, 2) it must be made clear that the meeting is supported by the society, and 3) a sign-up sheet has to be circulated to record attendance and allow non-members to sign up for the society.
Requests for support must be submitted by email to the board well in advance of the meeting. The decision to support a given meeting is made on a case-by-case basis by the board.
